INGREDIENTS
- Butter, for bake dishes
- Sugar, for sprinkling
- 80 gram baking chocolate
- 60 gram butter
- 2 egg, separate egg yolk and egg white
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp flour
- 3 tbsp sugar
- Powder sugar, for serving
RECIPE
1. BUTTER two baking dishes / ramekins that hold 2 dl. Sprinkle sugar into the ramekins/molds, shake to disperse, then pour out what doesn't stick.
2. MELT chocolate and butter together until liquid.
3. WHISK the egg yolks and vanilla extract well into the bowl of melted chocolate. Stir in the flour until there are no lumps and set aside to cool.
4. WHISK the egg whites in a large bowl with a stand mixer on medium speed until the mixture becomes foamy and slightly white.
5. ADD the sugar, a little at a time, continuing to beat on medium speed, then increase the speed until the whites begin to stiffen. Set aside.
6. SELECT Preheat on the Cosori airfryer, adjust the temperature to 165°C, and press Start/Pause.
7. STIR about 1/3 of the egg whites into the chocolate mixture. Then mix the chocolate mixture into the remaining egg white, mixing gently but thoroughly.
8. POUR the batter into the ramekins/moulds and place them in the food basket of the air fryer.
9. BAKE the soufflés at 165°C for 13 minutes.
10. SPRINKLE powdered sugar over the soufflés after cooking and serve immediately.
