Mozzarella sticks

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 gram firm mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp flours
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 120 gram Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • Cooking oil / spray
  • Marinara sauce for serving

RECIPE

1. CUT the cheese into 18 equal pieces.

2.  MIX together the flour, cornstarch, salt and pepper in a bowl.

3. WHISK together eggs and milk in a separate bowl.

4. MIX panko breadcrumbs and parsley flakes in a separate bowl.

5. COVER all the cheese pieces in flour, then dip in egg, then roll in breadcrumbs. Dip the cheese pieces in egg and breadcrumbs once more.

6. SELECT Preheat on the Cosori airfryer, adjust the temperature to 177°C, and press Start/Pause.

7.  PLACE the cheese pieces in the freezer while the air fryer preheats.

8.  PLACE the cheese pieces in the food basket and spray with a little cooking spray.

9.  SELECT Frozen Food, choose 8 minutes, and press Start/Pause.

10. SHAKE the baskets halfway through cooking (the Shake Reminder feature will let you know when).

11. SERVE with your favorite marinara sauce, or another dressing.
